My design story begins in Hong Kong, where the efficient transportation systems, like the Hong Kong International Airport and the MTR, served as my classrooms. It was here that I learned the importance of designing systems that cater to people's needs while providing care for individuals of all ages and languages.
This foundation, combined with the human-centered approach I experienced at IDEO and the international market focus at Uber, has shaped my product design philosophy. I believe that every product I design should blend practicality, innovation, and deep user empathy to address functional needs and elicit emotional resonance. This is how I create memorable products that resonate with people worldwide.
A journey of personal growth and understanding my roots:
Over the past four months, I immersed myself in the rich traditions of Mexico, India, and my hometown, Hong Kong. I participated in a Silent Meditation Retreat, a Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat, and celebrated the Lunar New Year.
I am now planning to get my Scuba Diving Certification – would love recommendations!
